NASCAR Coolers

racetrack_coolers2

Polar Bear Coolers have been the go-to cooler at race tracks across the country for over a decade. Our FDA-Approved TPU Double-Coated Interior Liner is the strongest liner ever built into a soft cooler, and will make sure that you don’t end up with a puddle of cold water under your seat halfway through the race. Polar Bear Backpack Coolers make getting to your seat even easier, by freeing up your hands while traveling throughout the venue.

All race tracks and speedways in the US have restrictions on cooler sizes allowed in the venue. Check out handy list below to see the size requirements for the next race you will be attending.

“I ordered six Polar Bear Coolers as gifts for my groomsmen and father prior to my wedding and the guys absolutely loved them. The coolers are extremely high quality and durable, but most importantly, they keep the contents really cold. I was so impressed I actually went back and ordered myself one after the wedding. I’ve seen my buddies using them at the beach, on road trips, in golf carts, in fishing boats and tailgating. They’re perfect gifts because they are affordable, high quality, and can be presented as a gift with other items stuffed inside (I stuffed mine with a six pack, dress socks for the big day, a Polar Bear trucker hat, and a personal note). The customer service was excellent, the coolers arrived quickly, and the team at Polar Bear even threw in a few hats for good measure. I highly recommend anyone looking for a practical gift for their guys to go with a Polar Bear Cooler. “

“I was very impressed by Polar Bear Coolers throughout the entire ordering process. I had an exceptionally large number of groomsmen for whom I needed to get gifts and the 12-pack Nylon Soft Cooler was just what I needed. It hit the mark on both price and utility. Instant hit with the groomsmen — I think a few may have put them to use on the way out of the rehearsal dinner. I reached out to the Polar Bear Coolers prior to placing the order to ask questions about the monogram as well as the shipping policies and was impressed that I received a response the very next day. The coolers arrived with plenty of time to spare and all were in great condition. I loaded them up with each groomsman’s beer of choice and we were ready for the wedding. Now almost a year later, I’m still getting texts every so often showing the cooler being used at the beach, the ski lodge, and everywhere in between. I had set out to get a gift that my groomsmen could actually use rather than just put aside the day after the wedding and I think these coolers did exactly that. Highly recommend. “

“Ordering the personalized Polar Bear backpack coolers for our groomsman was one of the best ideas we had for showing them how much we appreciate them being a part of our wedding. We wanted to give them a gift that they would actually use and since we all go to the lake and camping together, this was perfect for everyone. The backpacks are easy to carry, versatile enough for any occasion, and we got a great deal on them too!”

“It was an easy decision when deciding on a groomsman gift. I wanted to go above and beyond your typical rinky dink groomsman gift. I wanted to give my friends something that they would use over and over and would last a long time. Already being a current owner of a Polar bear backpack cooler and a 12 pack nylon soft cooler, I knew a Polar Bear cooler would make the perfect gift. I ordered 11 green, 12 pack nylon soft coolers, all personalized with everyone’s initials. Polar Bear was easy to work with and had my gifts customized and shipped very quickly.  After stacking a few cold ones inside and delivering the gifts. The coolers became an instant hit for those thirsty, ill prepared friends whom just pulled into town. After the wedding weekend ended, I received several compliments on the coolers. Biggest compliment was that these coolers hold ice great and do not leak. Now being months down the road, whether it be going a cook out, crawfish boil, dove hunting, etc. One thing I can almost guarantee is that when I see one my friends strolling in, they have that Polar Bear cooler clenched close to their side.

Polar Bear makes a great product. I highly recommend this brand of coolers.”

Meet Bullet!

Bullet Proof

It’s what’s on the inside that really counts.

In the world of soft coolers, you are only as good as your liner! Polar Bear Coolers house the strongest liner ever built into a soft cooler. But don’t take our word for it – meet Bullet! If he can’t tear it up, what chance have you got?

Bullet is a Belgian Malinois currently on duty with the Griffin, GA Special Task Force K9 Unit. We spent the better part of the afternoon enticing Bullet to attack our TPU Double Coated Nylon liner material. To our surprise, Bullet was unable to puncture the super tough liner material.

All soft coolers are NOT the same. Polar Bear Coolers are the ONLY soft coolers of our patented design made of superior CLOSED CELL FOAM insulation.

Packing Your Polar Bear

Follow the steps below to get optimal performance from your cooler!
.
.
• START COLD: When possible, chill your items before packing them into your cooler.
• PACK IT FULL: Use a 2 to 1 ice to product ratio. Leaving empty space inside the cooler will cause the ice to melt faster.
• ICE ON TOP: If possible, keep the ice in one of our Pre-Liners on top of your goods. Cold air descends, and loose ice melts faster.
• BUCKLE DOWN: Make sure you to buckle down the side flaps when the cooler is closed. Using the buckles creates a seal in the insulation for the optimal chill.
• KEEP IT CLOSED Limit air exposure when possible. Keep your cooler closed when you are not accessing your goods.

Polar Bear Med Coolers – Cryo MedEx – Cold Chain Solutions

“I’m not sure if you need customer recommendations, but I thought I would send this e-mail anyway. Your product is amazing, and in my case it is a genuine life saver. At age 20 I was diagnosed with early-onset rheumatoid arthritis. Luckily I have great medication which allows me to be mobile and live a normal life. The difficulty is is that my medications needs to be kept cold at all times. As a 20 year old I harbored ambitions to travel the world, but I thought that with my medication it would be impossible. I had searched the internet for a compact cool bag, but I couldn’t find anything small enough that could keep things cold for any longer than a couple of hours. Luckily I stumbled on to your website (I live in the UK), and thanks to your product I can last 24 hours between fridges or ice. This has allowed me to fulfill my ambition of traveling. So far (by age 23) I have taken the Polar Bear Ice-N-Go Medical Cooler on the back of trucks in Cuba, driving in beat up rental cars through Mexico, skiing in Montana, boat rides in the highlands of Guatemala, cycling through the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy. My Polar Bear has traveled to Inca ruins in Peru, to jungles in Columbia, up the tallest active volcano in the world (Ecuador), across Bolivian salt flats, hiking in Patagonia and even in to the Atacama desert (one of the hottest and driest places on earth). Thanks!”

Redlyner Racing

Polar Bear Coolers Redlyner Racing

When it came time for Polar Bear Coolers to sponsor a race car, we knew that we had to go over the top. Sure, we could have sponsored a NASCAR or a Formula 500 Car, but that is what everybody does! Instead, we took to the desert for answers. It was there, on the scorching hot Baja desert dunes that we came across off-road enthusiast (and all-around crazy man) Jay Callaway. Handsome Jay is the lead driver for Redlyner Racing, and is just as concerned about his hair product as he is about his shock tuning. Redlyner Racing typically competes in the ULTRA4 Racing events, most notably the notorious King Of Hammers race in Southern California.

9A705D26-3797-4264-9076-9BF73505E5A1

King of The Hammers takes place each year in February, on public lands in Johnson Valley, CA.  The race has evolved from 12 teams racing for bragging rights and a case of beer, to more than 300 teams competing before more than 35,000 fans in person and nearly 500,000 watching online. Due to the incredible success of King of the Hammers, Hammerking has created an ULTRA4 Racing Series with seven races held throughout the country.

Each of these races is a qualifier for the King of The Hammers race each year. In addition to these races, Hammerking has established a racing class known as the ULTRA4 class. The defining characteristic of this class is that all cars must be capable of 4-wheel drive. Beyond that, the class is unlimited. These cars come in all shapes and sizes and are capable of speeds over 100+ MPH and still contain gear ratios as low as 100 to 1 for technical rock crawling.

13626480_1376051079077066_6763653785390865473_n

When we found Jay in the desert, he told us that he had two needs:

1) A product that could be attached to his off-road monstrosity to keep his water and nutrition cold in the 105+ degrees temperatures in which he competes,

AND

2) A secondary product that could be attached to his car to be used as a tool bag. This tool bag would need to be extremely well-insulated, so that the tools do not heat up, making them too hot to work with.

When we heard this, we knew that Jay was talking to the right people. We immediately outfitted Jay and his buggy with some Polar Bear H2O Coolers. As the pioneering company behind the high-performance soft cooler movement, we knew that our product would hold up against any environment, including flying through the desert at 150mph in 105 Degree heat.

1518862_1063756613658321_4185879449950271568_o

Jay was naturally skeptical at first, but after a few trial runs in the desert, he was sold. Once he realized that his drinks, nutrition and tools would be able to stay cool for not one, not two but for THREE days in the unforgiving Baja heat, Jay became a Polar Bear Coolers supporter for life. The Handsome Man is currently training for his second attempt to claim the title at King of Hammers, and is also competing in other off-road races across the country, with his Polar Bear Coolers in tow. Jay utilizes the eight Stainless-Steel tie downs on the H2O Cooler to secure the cooler to his car. Remember – if you can ride it, rock it, wheel it, deal it or steal it, then the Polar Bear Cooler can be attached to your vehicle with ease. Thanks to the waterproof, tear-resistant TPU shell on the Polar Bear H2O Coolers, Jay can simply hose-down his cooler after each desert run. The freshly-washed H2O Cooler then matches Jay’s high-end fashion sense, and makes the perfect beverage cooler for an after-race press conference.

12743869_1095632117137437_7646351858355911519_n

Needless to say, when Jay showed up at King of Hammers for the first time in 2016 with his Polar Bear Cooler, the trend caught on quickly. Finding Polar Bear Coolers in “Hammertown” is now commonplace, and it is not unusual to spot a few Backpack Coolers being worn by spectators throughout the crowd.

Band On The Run

POLAR BEAR COOLERS

What you are looking at is quite probably the most qualified group of cooler experts maybe ever assembled on the face of the earth.  Believe it!  These people know coolers.  Why?  Because they need coolers.  Not like you and I need coolers.  They NEED coolers.  And they need coolers that PREFORM BIG TIME!  For them, It’s not just a matter of cold beer, (I’m not saying cold beer isn’t important now – don’t get me wrong), but for this group, it’s a matter of survival! It’s a matter of Duck Eggs Benedict w/ Galilee Royal Osetra Caviar.  It’s a matter of Ranch House Elk Chili.  It’s a matter of Linguini in Clam Sauce, Frozen Melon Margaritas, and it’s a matter of Crisp Lettuce Wedge with Garden Fresh Tomatoes on day 24.  Put it this way – if necessity were the mother of invention, then these are the necessary mothers for whom the invention became a cooler!  Who are they you ask?  They’re not sayin’.  They’ve got their reasons.  We only know them as Team Polar Bear.  Personally,  I think they are all on the lam, not running from the law in most cases, but from society in general.  Hey, it was an election year …and we did find a “Band on the Run” CD at the put in.

Polar Bear Coolers

But it’s not what they are running from, it’s what they are headed for that got our attention.  And what they are headed for is BIG Adventure! 25 days in the Grand Canyon.  This elite group of adventurist and expert waters-men and women mean business when it comes to extreme living!  And they mean business when it comes to keeping cool.  Because in case you haven’t been down there in, oh the last 6 million years or so, the Grand Canyon is unforgiving.  Remote, tranquil, hot and furious, it’s one of the most beautiful and challenging places on earth.

BAND ON THE RUN IMAGE 3It takes a special breed to venture into the unknown, relying only on your instinct and your gear.  A breed that isn’t complacent sitting on the porch.  A breed that is driven to push the limits and test the boundaries of their surroundings, a breed who truly believes, that if it’s worth living for, it’s worth dying for, and a breed that knows how to have a damn good time doing it! We call that special breed Team Polar Bear.  And maybe it’s true we don’t know all of their names, or where they came from.  I can tell you one thing we do know.  After 25 days in the Grand Canyon, that Ace Upholstery will never be the same!

How do they do it?

BAND ON THE RUN IMAGE 6

Polar Bear Coolers

Ever wonder how a group of 15 people survive in the Grand Canyon for 25 days?  COOLERS! Each team freezes solid, in layers, via walk-in freezer, the rations for each week. These massive hard coolers, frozen into solid blocks of ice, are then loaded up and strapped into the boats (the heavier the better for the big water of the Grand). Every several days the ice dissipates revealing the next several days rations.
——————————————————————————-

Three coolers are dedicated to block ice alone.  Block ice that can be chiseled for making drinks, or cooling purified drinking water.  Not just any block ice, crystal clear pure solid block ice, provided by an Ice sculptor of course (hey – when you’re Team Polar Bear you know people).

 ——————————————————————————-

Since there is no practical way of carrying drinking water for 15 people spanning a 25 day excursion into the Grand Canyon, the drinking water is purified using portable charcoal purification filter hand pumps.

There is no shortage of drinking water in the Grand Canyon, if you know where to look.  There is only a WATER MANAGEMENT challenge with the drinking OF the water in the Grand Canyon.   For most people the problem isn’t having too little drinking water, but having too much at one time.  You may want to make sure you avoid this problem by staying in the boat!  However, with this group, depending on who you’ve selected to be your partner, you may still find that it is possible to have too much to drink, even though you never left the boat.

As the days rations become available, the smaller portions are broken down and divided up into soft coolers for personal convenience and easy access.  Not just any soft coolers – Polar Bear Soft Coolers.  Polar Bear Coolers allow for quick easy access while providing superior Closed-Cell Foam insulation and rugged waterproof durability.   Additionally, The Polar Bear Coolers are anti-microbial and super easy to keep clean.

One of the many Polar Bear Coolers featured on this expedition was the H20 Backpack cooler.  As part of the Polar Bear EC Line (Extreme Chill), this cooler combines waterproof hands-free mobility with unmatched cold retention.  A number of layovers during the Grand Canyon trip allowed the expedition to venture out on foot and explore the surroundings.  The Polar Bear H20 Backpack Cooler’s ability to keep cold for extended periods of time make it the cooler of choice for extreme adventures and day excursions.
